strait showtime!!!

take your strait meat honker barrel and put your show time insert in it with some broke in guts. a friend showed me that and it is the best sound out there. let me no what you think!!!

I prefer the straight up showtime, the low end trick notes and more aggressive dance wasn't as good with the SMH barrel on.

Not really stuff done in the field, but, I'll take the plain ole showtime.

I don't like the Showtime mouthpiece either so I run a cackler barrell with a hedge insert. But I'm also very smart and I kill limits every time :wink:

I've never tried a cackler. Does a cackler barrel have the same edge on the mouthpeice right inside the front of the call?

No, it dosnt cut at your lips like the showtime, its basically a "mini-meat" as Jeff puts it. Pretty close to the HPH mouthpiece, maybe bored out a hair more, but a nice smooth round mouthpiece.

I think your right, but on the other hand I have 5 short comps here. Think I'll just go after a barrel and see how I like it. Sucks though, the short comp is only 3 colors. Also why I like the showtime inserts. You get a little darker tone with the showtime insert. I like it!
