i picked up a dozen decoys at the start of the season to try them out in comparrison to my FA decoys and all i can say is my FA's are gonna be for sale at the end of the season. so far the dakotas have fallin out of the back of a friend of mines truck at 65 mph and a couple of them have been hit with falling geese and survived. you would think after falling out of a truck they would have more damage but all that happend was a couple heads broke which they sell replacement heads so thats no big deal. there isnt a scratch what so ever on the paint or even the flocking. we had a FA decoy work out of the bag 2 weeks ago and get out on the road and well hes road rashed pretty bad. paint and flocking scratches. im runnin a spread of bigfoots FAs and Dakotas right now ill try and get a picture sometime of them side by side in a field. ill attach the one i got of them in the back yard. next year ill be runnin nothin but bigfoots and dakotas. dakotas are well worth it.

i agree i just figure i have almost 2k in ffd's and i hunt 3 to 4 days a week and i know with in a few years they are going to be worth NOTHING because they will be so beat! and if i get the money out of them while i can now and buy Dakotas they will last longer. thanks for the input guys!

I know guys that are grinding them over Dakotas.

I heard "Big" Sean used a Dakota as a chair at a show in Indy. NO issues.

I've seen two season old Dakotas and they look phenomenal.

I am also considering this chance. I hate the real feet in the cold and the flocking isn't seeming to hold up on the FFD's at all really

They are tough decoys. They look good and from what I have seen, stand up to the abuse.

I think they are the cats arse. I'm proud to be apart of them.

We had a BIG goose land on one... I mean it was probably 14 pounds and the only thing it did was push the stake through the decoy. The decoy still looks phenominal and the stake bent a little. A quick little presidential solution to the stake and it is good as new. I have no doubts that this would have shattered any GHG full body decoy on the market.

THEY ARE TOUGH!!!

They better be tough because their shape is closer to a turkey than any goose I have ever seen. Way to blocky.

The dakota's are nice. The FA decoys are nothing but a pain in the ass. We run Avery motion dekoys but would like to pick up some dakota's after hunting over them this past week.

I saw him blow his goose routine as loud and fast as he could at a Dakota Decoy, stomp, pout, bitch and complain....and still finished second

I use FFD lessers double bagged and they are awesome. I have also hunted over Dakotas. They are tough and toll geese. It depends on if you mind taking care of your gear. FFD's take more care but they are what I choose. FA's suck. Used the Last Pass a couple times before they were sold...worst investment ever.

Dollar store has nylon bags for a buck each.

I used them when double bagging my Lessers and they kept the lessers in excellent condition. The bags rip pretty easy, but they don't need to look good, just need to keep the decoys looking good.
