theres alot of different ways to go about feed calling. Ive heard guys say that they say "kitty" into the call, guys that use a variation of TICK . . . "tikkitukatika" but personally I say "dit dit da dit da dit dit". . . and so on
Hope this helps man, remember find somethin thats comfortable for YOU and go with that, everyone deviates a little from the sounds in Jeff's videos based on personmal preference

Thanks I'll try a few different word and try that. Maybe you could how I should be using my tongue to cut the notes?

Chris-
For me its kinda like when you so too-wit into a goose flute. What I mean by that is, you flip your tongue when you say wit to force the air out and accent that part of the call. For example, when you say "dit da dit dit da dit" like I do you'll really flip your tongue to cut that "dit" note not so much on the "da's" and you also vary the amount of air you blow through call. This will make it sound more realistic.
I aint an expert by any means man, but this is how I do it, and Ive been told I got a pretty damn good feeding growl so hope it helps

In my opinion you just have to practice and practice and then practice some more to be able to do the chuckle fast. You will get quicker and quicker as you go. Im not the best at duck calling, but I can chuckle pretty good. After you get the fast chuckle down, you can start throwing quacks in and then slowing and fastening the chuckle. In my opinion, varying the speed and adding quacks inside the chuckle sounds awesome. I dont chuckle much when hunting water, field hunting I chuckle alot.

The way I learned was by saying tick-a-tick-a-tick-a. Just start real slow.
Even go as slow as seperating the two sylables, say tick then -a. Once you get the hang of it start to speed it up. you can also say words like kitty, ditty, dugga or other stuff along those lines. also if you say words like cook and vary the cadence it makes a good contentment call. good luck.

When I feed call I try to mix in a lot of quacks with the normal chuckle. Such as: tikatikatika-ack-tikatik-ack-tika-ack, ack, ack-tikatika, and so on.

What I've found as a good way to help build speed on your "machine-gun" style feed call is to say into the call, ti-ti-ti-ti and so on as fast as you can, then switch it over to, kuh-kuh-kuh-kuh and so on as fast as you can. Just keep repeating both. Im sure youll notice your speed getting faster in your tikatikatika.

i personally feel that your feed chuckle doesnt have to be extremely fast. I have had success with a fast chuckle and sometimes with just a slow chuckle. So, basically just try to find whats comfortable for you hope this helps out.

I agree with you, you dont neefeed call in the field. I only mentioned it for people who need to speed it up for competitions.

Try putting your tongue in your bottom front teeth.Go gagagagagagagaggaagagagagaggaa. The middle of your tongue is like a vibrater.lol The gagagagagagaga really makes your tongue vibrate. The gaa or gaaa is your quacks.Well good luck
