i was just Curious, i bought a Max4 MH recently, and when figiting with the call i noticed that it has the O rings on the insert and not in the barrel like the other calls, tho i bought it recently it low # 0646 to be exact, i heard Foiles say that they went through some changes when they first came out, i was just wonderind if they all are like this or did i get a design that has since been changed, Awsome call btw, we just started seening Small groups of migrators down here and i spent all this after noon, laying in a field and blowing the hell out of this call, im also tryin to break in my new Avery Finisher, theres a cold front moving so i figured the bird would be on the move, so i laid out there and just talked to the geese anyone else ever do this or am i just crazy, anyway i need someway to break these guts in, lemme know what you guys think...........

No, I dont have a MH but I need to get me one,I alway's figured that all Foiles calls had the o-rings in the barrel,such as my SMH,TR,SMM.But it might be an upgrade or redesign.

Or Something that got Redesigned...i unno.....have to wait and see......great call otherwise...you should definately get one, i traded a car for this one ...lol

So i Guess thats how they were made, just curious, i know Jeff made this call on a whim, but i figured he would have kept the standard O-Ring Design ......

That is the only style I have seen for the MH, mine is number 2232 and it is the same way. I believe that at the last show I wen't to their was some numbered calls left, but they may be gone by now too.

Also just a little point of clarification, if you look in your SMM or TR you wont find any o-rings, just the goose calls. :wink:

I bought my call from a local shop, Captn Bones, its a bait shop in the area he has loads of Foiles calls and a Majority of them are #rd, and low #rd at that....Lucky Me....he has STs in #rs under 400....
