SMM vs legend

Big question?? IM 14 and i dont have all the money in the world and was wondering if the SMM is really worth the money. I no it will have that good acrylic sound but i dont have that much money yet. Should i by the legend wood or save up for the SMM??

Save for the SMM, or even look into the TR or DMM, they are all great calls.

The wood legend is a GREAT duck call for the money!!! It is nothing but an old, nasally, nasty, hen mallard. It does blow just a touch harder, ain't gonna be as loud, not a ringer, just a killin machine and is always on the lanyard when hunting mallards. If you were to go that route, get a double reed!! The only drawback to going this route would be that this duck call, being as though it ain't acrylic, will not be warrantied for life.

Now for the acrylics, if you wanna go ahead and save for this route, also a great way to go, but I would wager at some point you will buy an acrylic call after blowing the legend for a while....just seems to be the pattern. All of the acrylics are great calls, the SMM is going to be the loudest, it will ring, pretty good low end, great for bigger open water situations, or windy days. The new DMM is not going to ring, this is a hunting call, great volume if you want it, controllable volume, low end is down right duck, very easy to get on and off this call....this call could be used in almost all situations, not quite as loud as the SMM, but would get the job done!!!! The timber rattler is not going to be as loud as the DMM or SMM, but is a great duck call, great low end, a bit on the top, but not as much as the previous two.....I don't know, hope I covered everything, here, if not keep on askin til you get things answered!!!!!
