How many of you guys have hunted over these. Thinking about getting 2 or 3 dozen for next year to mix in with the FB. I've heard nothing but good things about them and have talked to guys who solely hunt over them and swear by them. Sure would make it easier setting up and packing up, especially on those days were you cant drive into the field. Any thoughts?

I personally dont hunt over any silhouettes. Save your money and buy full bodies, just my opinion :D

I hunted over the pro series II's for three days. All I can say is awesome, they dont collect dew, and the sides are glare resistant so no shine on the decoys, they didnt seem to spook any birds and best of all no need for a trailer. I can give you a picture of what they look like in the field if you want

I agree silos are easy to use and the Pro Series2 do look good. But ehat happens when the geese fly over them and the decoys arnt there anymore? That isn't good!!! But they do work but I just feel more confident using the full bodies myself. The last hunt we went on we used only 9 Dave Smith Honker Decoys. Them decoys are just Freakin AWESOME!!!!!

I use silos alot, esp. the pro series 2. anyone who says you cant kill birds over silos has never used them enough. the trick to using them in small numbers is too spread them out. i use ffd's with silos too. but we kill alot of geese over 25 doz silos. this morning i had 7 guys in the spread, used 13 doz fullbodys and 25 doz silos and was done before 9:00.
give them try you will like them.

WOW you use a **** ton of decoys sir!!! That would be awesome to be able to hunt over 38 dozen decoys!!!!
At best we have 10 dozen for the field!
We do have one spot on the water we use close to 400 decoys thoe

I use 3 dz pro series 2's all the time along with a few full bodys and 1 dz shells. They are awsome, look great, and are very easy to handle.

Silo's are awsome for building up an existing spread. They really look good too. The only down fall is when the ground is frozen. They are very durable and we run outlaw silo's ourselves. Fullbodys are the way to go really, but if you are looking at the storage issue that can arrise with fullbodys than get 4-5 dozen silo's. They don't take much room at all and they make and add another look to your spread. They work extremly well. Hope this helps! :D

We use 4 dozen Real Geese, and they work well if you're hunting alone, or just have a minimum of help. However, when the temperature drops, and the ground gets as hard as concrete, unless you have some way to poke a hole in the ground, you are hosed.
Have a backup plan, have some field shells and full bodies, and motion does not hurt unless you buy a Mojo goose, which from all reports I have heard, doesn't work worth a poop.
Real Geese work well also for a quick set up, say you have new ground and have that "spur of the moment: type hunt. Get the Avery silhouette bags, contrary to the advertising, the Avery bags CANNOT hold four dozen silhouettes. I have two Avery bags for 4 dozen Real Geese.

We also use silos a lot and have had good success with them.
Really easy to pack in a multiple dozens with a satchel if you cant drive into your field because of muddy conditions. We use a dawalt power drill to make holes in the frozen tundra.
