I heard a rumor that a ton of ducks are down by you all right now, Is that true? If so how are they workin? My little brother is home from school and I want to take him out to the Club I used to go to, but I want to see how things are first....

If ya really got to know there's right around 30K down there right now. Mostly Hens thoe so that's right up your alley!!!! ;-)

But ya stay away from Marion Illinois area cause I am wanting to save them geese for next weekend for me and my hunting group ;-)

I am going to head all the way down to Grassy Lake Hunting Club in Ware in the morning. I just talked to a guy donwn there. As long as we get some wind with that sunshine it should be a good day...

Post up some pics! I have hunted that club once a long long time ago for geese and we hunted a big water hole and just smashed the geese. But there were also 90K geese down in that area also then.

I grew up hunting there, it was the best for geese back in the day. The "black hole" was sick. Colin says they get all ducks now, but when they are in the area its great hunting.
Ill let you know about the geese situation around Marion.

I used to live around there back in the early 90s and horseshoe lake was nasty. did they clean it up?
