Just back from NoDak

Just uploaded some pics from our (PAgooser Brad and Me) trip to North Dakota ....a hard freeze pushed most of the birds out of the area but with a little ice breaking we managed to kill a few!!

We stayed in Rugby...first time there so it was a learning experience...but just like anywhere with a little scouting we did ok...next year we will have a better idea of how and where to do things and will try to stay longer... looooong drive for a 4 day hunt!!!

I guess, I think Rugby is a long drive from me, and I live in MN....but i don't hunt in ND anyways...glad you went up there and got on those ND boys' birds.....

Looks like a decent trip for "learning experience"....next year should be sweet!!!

Gimme a ring sometime...we are hunting in NY this weekend - have a bunch of fields lined up (and NJHONKER is making an appearance at my house tomorrow night for a little PA/NY quakc/honk smack down!!!).

I still want to take you up on that PYMY hunt brother!!! FOR SURE!!!!

Great pics. NoDak trips are always fun. A couple of my buddies did internships for school out there with the division of wildlife. We've went back several times. Always kill a lot of birds. We found it's better hunting less talked about areas out there. It's not as hard to find unposted land. There are birds all over that state and with a little scouting you can get them daily. We went last year and can't go back this year. Next year it's on though.
