THis is just a rant I have to get out. Went out the last day of the season for ducks. I have my what I call honey hole sweet spots and was at 1 for the morning. Its a bigger lake and i seem to do better on larger open waters so anyway. There are usually more geese than ducks roosting overnight on the water. When i hunt big waters i take 8 of my goose floaters which i'm sure alot of you do. So i'm set up and throughout the morning i get a few ducks, but what i'm pissed about is, goose season wasnt open and i had probablly 50 or more geese either land or fly by in range of my goose floaters. What really bothers me is that when I am hunting geese, i can call til my lips go numb and not get a single look at my spread. Anyway, you guys have a great season and strait shootin.
