I hunt some flooded wetlands around oklahoma. I am having trouble getting anything in the decoys or in shooting range. It isn't my calling because I can turn them from a long way and i get quiet as they get real close and it has always worked for me. I carry about 30 mallard decoys and a mojo my self and set them in 2 large groups and leave landing space between them and put my mojo coming into the wind. I always charge the mojo before i go so the wing beats are constant. I use max 4hd camo and take a precautions as far as consealment goes. What can I do???? I use 15 ghg life size and 15 herters magnums and mix them in. the herters are the ones with the real feather look.

Are you hunting where the birds want to be or they flying thru? Not knowing the hunting pressure in your area, what I would do is only put out 4 to 8 decoys out, ditch the mojo, light calling and watch your movement on incoming birds. See what that does. Late season birds have seen just about everything so you got to mix it up some. Hope this helps you out.

I hunt in Oklahoma as well. I ditched my mojo's last month and went to my jerk cord with feeder butts on it, that's been helping a lot! I've been using no more than a dozen decoys in small pair groups. Calling; I've been using a SR TR and just quacking. I have never seen the ducks as decoy shy as they are this year so be patent.
