i have it bad

well boys i was outside at about 8:30 this morning and about 500 honkers flew over my house bout 30 yards high. i just stopped and looked for like 5 minutes and my mom said what are you doing? i didnt answer her cause i was amazed. then she said how bad have you got it. i still dint answer. then she started yelling at me, ho bad have you got it. i stopped and looked at her and said pretty damn bad. just wondering if any of you boys have it this bad or not?

Well i can't say i have it that bad but i have been out watching the lakes and fields alot lately. usually just sit there for the evening and see whats coming. What i have a problem doing is staying on the road when i am driving by a lake or known feeding field. I get alot of birds in the next couple weeks since i live near middle creek refuge. They will start coming in there by the thousands, especially the snows.

Got It Bad is an Understatement, stayin on the road, hell i stop in the middle of the road to watch dropping birds, we are in them thick, down here in lil ole DE, Try getting yelled at every day cause im standin in my Bay door at werk stareing at the passing bird, my shop is inbetween a water treatment and run off plant, well area, we shall just call it a roost, theres about 10 100yrd by 200yrd ponds less than a 1/4 mile from my shop, and theres nothing but ag in the area, so lets just say i see hundreds of birds a day, and yes i literally get yelled at for stareing out the doors and not working, last saturday i got off work at 12 and drove to my local hot spot, Finisher and Lanyard in had, i setup in a field, no decoys, and just talked to Migrators runnin ahead of a cold front we got hit with, talk about awesome, i was turning birds and lockin them up to about 60-70 yards, when they couldnt figure out where the noise was comming from they just went on, talk about pumped, my Lab puppy was goin nuts, waitin for birds to hit the ground, but she did good and i was surprised with her first time in a hunting scenerio, she just laid next to my blind and watched the birds as the lost altitude, but anyways back on topic, yeah, i spend every night on the back step talkin to the local birds, as they pass over the house, every night im in the basement makeing sure all my calls work.....aka Practice-Practice-Practice....got it bad, i cant tell you how much $$$$$$$ ive spent since last season to get ready for this season, and im still buyin ish....calls ( Foiles Only ) decoys, looking to get a boat by next season, lookin to get a good truck to tow the boat next season, looking to get an auto loader and retire my old pump to Deer Only, got it bad, im on this forum everynight just to read about how other people seasons are going, got it bad, i watch Fallen Skies 3 everynight before bed, got it bad, my callin geese CD hasnt come out of my CD player in my car since last season, i think i have gone through two reeds on my SMH since i bought it i blow everyday for a least an hour or two...like i said in the beginning got it bad isnt the word, i eat-sleep-Ish-Breathe Fowl, and Foiles is my Company.........so yes i have it bad, maybe less than some, but i know more than most...........lol who else has it bad

i woulda had gun in hand but you cant drop any honkers untill the the 20th :: Pouts :: whys it take so damn long for the season to get here.......other wise there woulda been birds laid out everywhere ...
