Il got a 5 early season goose limit this year, 2 regular season, 6 ducks

in my zone in NE we get 3 canada geese, and 6 ducks of which 5 can be mallards. Only 1 pintail or canvasback, early in the season but after the first part of november we can't shoot any.

For some reason, they throw us in jail if we shoot Canadians. But Canada geese, we can kill 5 in the early season, 2 durring regular season, and 6 ducks.

U notice how in chicago all the do gooders are throwin a fit about all the geese but we have the least limits and one of the shortest seasons. :shock: :roll:

we were talkin about that in the blind last year with a IL rep, he was sayin that cook county wanted to become there own state like 20 yrs ago and the people voted it down. I garuntee if it was voted again they would be leavin this state.

The’ve been puttin poison in the grass and smashing eggs. even though its illegal they don’t care. I found 3 or 4 birds in lockport that were really sick. they had the runs and just died. When I asked the care takers at the golf coarse they said as if they been doin it for years ''yeah we poison em''. I swear the guy had a smile on his face. but its not only golf coarses there all these housing developments that build these ponds in the middle and All the company ponds. Theres only one way to get rid of them.

#1 quit runnin the damn aerators

#2 quit feeding them

#3 let the hunters hunt the forest preserves that’s what there there for

I can agree with #3 I sometimes drive down 159th and see the monster deer that are in the Forest preserves, hell right there in orland where they have all the wetlands, they should let people hunt that. I would set up in Best Buys parking lot and decoy them.
