is toungstant ammo worth it

been up to the local shop a lot recently and the guys keep talkin up tungstant ammunition... is it really worth the extra price. what do you think?

Just for the record its spelled TUNGSTEN. But sorry, i've never used it. Were you looking at Kent's TungstenMatrix or Federal's Tungsten-Iron? I would say if you were going to buy some non-toxic shot besides steel, I would definately give Hevi-Shot (Remington) a try. I wanna get a box and see how far it will actually kill something. I have heard shooting tungsten and hevi-shot hits just as hard as lead. If fact, Hevi-shot is supposed to hit even harder. They say drop 3 shot sizes from steel to hevishot, where steel to lead is about 2 sizes. Just my opinion.
