Seen some geese feed off the south end of the lake today, but very few compared to what's hopefully out there. Had -9 on my way out this morning, didn't expect to see much. Saturday should be the indicator down here after this bitter cold pushes out. We're either going to start piling them up, or it's over.

Is there anywhere to hunt in NO IL?? I hear its a hot spot and there is a LOT of geese there all year round? Just curious, since everyone wants to go to braidwood, my spots are stolen so just wondering if i can return the favor???

Well the northern zone is closed, so you would have to be south of the I-80 divider line.
