i bought a Black Cloud P.M. for my extrema 2 and was shootin 3.5 inch BBB and it patterned like ****, was that because it was BBB or wat?

Its not the shot its the choke, I had the same problem. Try shooting 3 inch instead of 3.5 and you should see a diffrence. I ended up selling mine.

Where u shooting freehanded or rested? How far were u shooting? I'd have to say it's not the choke, they made that choke specifically for that shot.

was rested @ 30 yards and my factory chock was tighter, so i sold it! So you think i shoul get another one and try it or just 4 get it? Cause all i use it for is goose huntin an i use 3.5 inch for that so idk what to do!

black clouds are a piece of ****! worse investment in the f-ing world absolute **** waste of steel and if you want a shell that will perform day in and day out get supremes.

YES 100% black cloud chokes suck. I sold my PM and bought a kicks i couldnt be happier.

I had some very poor paterns with Black Cloud through my stock choke, Pure Gold choke & a Briley choke. It seemed no matter which one i used or the consrtiction it just always had large holes.

I hate to laugh, but its been entertaining watching this Black Cloud roller coaster over the past year and a half. It went from being the best thing since Hostess HoHos; to, "they don't work well with Patternmaster chokes"; to, "they just suck, period". :lol: :lol:

I love going to Super Bowl parties for the same reason; getting drunk and watching friends high-5-ing and/or punching holes in walls.

I've tried the Blackcloud too, along with two of my buddies that hunt with me. I gave my box of Blackcloud to one of them and I will stick with the Kent 3.5" BBs for the geese. Its fun to watch the geese come in and I knock one down while they shoot all three times and nothing falls.

you musta got a bad batch cuz i switched from kent to blackcloud and have had great luck, seems to have much better penetration and will reach out there and put a hurt on ducks and geese. I was rolling geese out with 3's at 40 yards no problem all with factory remington chokes, throw away those after market bullsh*t chokes

even though i was told not to, i shot blackcloud out of my long range pattern master... everyone told me how horrible it would pattern and how i wasnt supposed to but i did it, o well. Just bought one box to shoot when it first came out just out of curiosity, and it shot fine and i killed geese consistently... never did pattern it but it killed them just as dead as my other loads.

My buddy did the same thing, he still murders geese with his ext. PM. I shoot a kicks high flyer and they do real well out of that.
