Anybody on here live around the Angola, IN area? Last year we had a lot geese stick around through the Februrary season. It's looking to be washout for my areas to hunt this year thought. Anybody else on birds around here?

there far and few between but there is still some around, that last cold snap we had that was -35 to -45 pushed them out, i made a trip to louisville last weekend and all the rivers, creeks, streams and ponds were froze solid until i got south of indy then there was open water, there's lots of birds down in the evansville area and the southern counties.
like i said earlier there are still birds around you have to find them, they are going to be tough to hunt because there will be so many parties out hunting and so few birds they will be vary wary.

They flew southeast. We're covered up with them here.

I live near Angola, bout 20 miles west. I scout a lot in Lagrange County and there's about 1000 in a field right now, but I wouldn't stress too much right now. The hunting season is over and you have the nuisance season coming up in Feb. If some of this snow melts off and it gets warmer birds will start flying.

Just think. They just happened to show up mostly in one clump. That would have been awesome to see and be there with the camera.
Grant it shooting into that would be amazing too.
