Pump Guns

Hey everybody - I have a 20ga. Pump and I like it but I need more killin' power for our Minnesota Greaters and Giant Canadas - Anybody recommend a good 12ga. pump? I like pumps because if I used a semi, i'd burn a box of shells faster than a ringneck jet planin' my decoys

benelli nova !!!!!!! i have one other than a little kick with 3 1/2s fastest pumping 12 ga out there, black synthetic is around $325.00 +/- on only gun ya can beat the crap out of it and keep pumpin and pullin the trigger

Yeah imma definatley have to invest in a nova, cant afford a SBE, or the new Extrema, really want an Auto but i been Pumpin for 12 years now, soo ( shut up Hunters Ridge LoL ) i guess it really doenst matter, but god would that new Extrema look good pokin outta my finisher lol

im gonna have to go with the remington 870 here for sure, best pumps on the market in my opinion, why? they will out last you, they are indestructable and reliable

glad yer step up with a new gun that nova's a great gun! BUT the extremas have a weird feel on the stock but there a great gun other than the palm grip feels BIG

Next wednesday, the 15th is PAs opener for geese, and then the 20th is DEs opener, im waiting for the call right now, on weather im going on the 15 waiting impatiently i might add, and if i get some ***elry you all will be the first to know...lol

i would say get a BPS. i have one and it has enough power for those big geese. i have a three inch one though, and stil gets the job done

i think that you can get a browning bps in a 3 1/2. not for sure though

Yeah man i went and held one at Dicks tonight, man i wanted to run, and torch the trigger gaurd off lol, i was kinda pissed when they told me they couldnt get the NOVA in max for for 369.00, but the Super with Comfortech is on like 460.00 and its in Max4, come on now, SOMEONES gettting a SuperNova, Someones Getting a Supernova lol, now i just gotta figure out how imma come up with 460.00 by wednesday.....hummmm

Hahahaha yeah, luckily my grandfather has connections, and gets guns at 10% over wholesale, lol SHHHHHHHH might be getting a SBEII, or an Extrema now, ill find out tomorrow, i just got off the phone with him and he told me not to go buyin nothing till he finds out, so....we will see tomorrow......worst comes to worst ill just get a Supernova, but i got my fingers Crossed .......yeah now i just gotta figure out how to break it to my girlfriend...maybe ill tell her its for her and ill just borrow it for the season lol, NOT, she told me earlier this year if i bought her a handgun then i could get any shotgun i wanted, so, but the thought of a female PMSin with a loaded clip scares the livin hell outta me lol, so i unno maybe ill just tell her the pistol is on backorder lol......anyway god whys it always tomorrow, i hate waitng....specially when it comes to waterfowlin.........oh well ill keep you posted

Still undecided? Listen buy the Nova, you can't go wrong with bennelli.

machine!!! How'ya think i got my name? My hunting buddies gave it to
me. Still undecided? The barrel is chrome lined, shoots almost as fast as
a semi-auto, mine has been through heck, and bore still looks like new!

Get this i've killed ducks grave yard dead @ 60 yards/ more than once!
Have shot geese @ 45 yards.. same result. and all this with the factory
modified choke tube!!! My pet load is 3 1/2'' BB 1 3/8 ounce Kent Fasteel
that's just regular steel.. No tungsteon... and at 1550 f.p.s. they kill!

ps: If you don't buy the super nova, invest in a mercury recoil reducer! :)

go with the Nova, besides oiling my choke tubes when I switch between pass/decoy shooting for ducks and shooting geese I have never cleaned it, and it has never even hiccupped once. It's killed coyotes, and mule deer. I have 2 winchester shotguns, and the nove beats them hands down. I would stay away from the Browning line of shotguns...I've seen nothing but problems with them in the field. Sorry I know its like the truck arguement but just my .02!! Get the Nova you won't regret it!!

I just got that Super Nova and I will never go back to anything. The recoil pad, it doesn't have the rattle in the pump and it just plain kills, no other way to describe it. It is a great slug gun as well. I shot a nice 8 pointer last weekend with it. Go with the Super, for the price you can't go wrong. I am almost happy some ASS stole my other gun, because I had to go buy a new one.

My grandfather got the Catalogs yesterday, now i just have to find time in my busy life to go down and pine through them, if it wasnt for Easton being tomorrow you better believe that i would be down there......hopefully sunday ill get to go.....ill keep you updated

Either the benelli nova/super nova or an 870, you really cant go wrong with either. I shoot a SBE and my dad shoots an 870 super mag and neither of them ever fail.

My vote is for either a Benelli Nova or Browning BPS, I have two nova's for 12's and a BPS for my 10 gauge, and I love them both, Right now until the end of the month the Browning BPS 3.5" has a 75 dollar rebate.

The biggest difference between Benelli and the rest is that to strip a nova the tools are on the gun. The others you need to carry tools.
