If there is a virus it could be only attacking people with certain OS on their computer. Like it might just be hitting people running Windows 98 or 2000, maybe just vista. You could also have a piece of spyware or malware on your computer that is triggering it to hit you. If it was a general attack everyone would get it.

The reason people are opening up the so called virus is they are clicking on the pop up ads to close them out and in turn opening their computer up to the virus.Problem easily solved: DO NOT CLICK ON POP ADS TO CLOSE THEM OUT,and you will golden.
