I'm pretty confident in my tongue and air control in my Mallard calling, just sometimes I'd like a little raspier, deeper sound. I know you can vary the tone/pitch by using your hand while calling, I was just wondering if there is more I could do.

Try voice inflection, grunt into the call i guess. If you close your hand down all you are really doing is muttling the tone. But try some voice inflection.

yeah i have a legend and a DMM both are DRs, and the legend sounds funny if you dont talk into it , but the DMM werks either way with no voice its a high pitch and it gets loud, but if you say ANT ANT ANT....into it gets real low and sounds like an old hen, F%#&in awesome call...eveyone should have one.... just my $.02
