Nice pics! I was in Arkie land for the first time a few weeks ago that flooded timber stuff is awesome. We didn't kill nice numbers like that, but it was still a good time and a learning experience. I don't think you can beat the tons of woodies flyin through the trees at first light.
I'm ready to go back.

We had 2 guys from Kansas in a couple of those pic. They have never seen anything like it. They loved the boat ride. They have never got to shoot at any woodies flying thru the timber. I cant understand the people that want to hunt timber. To me that is duck hunting! 35 years at it. Field or pond hunting dont hold a candle. Maybe if i had more chances to go hunt a pit it would change my attitude....nay!

Nice! But the picture would have been much better if it had a fat greyheaded old geezer from Magnolia in it!!!

That was the first hunt for that chessie. Two and half year old. Came out of Mass. Dog did great in the timber. There were alot of logs for the dog to go around. He made a 150 yard blind pick up. He is not sure about the birds that are still alive. Dont really want to pick them up.
