View Full Version : Recording sound and transferring to callingducks.com? Help!

Hey guys I was just wondering if there were any people on here that know how to record sound on a computer. Because I want to get onto the online calling contests on callingducks.com and couldnt figure out how to do it. I have a brand new Dell Inspiron 6400 and Im sure it has a built in recorder, but I dont know how to use it. Can I do it off of iTunes or WIndows Mediaplayer? Need help please

miller do u have a MIC? Ill come over after class for a little while and show you if you have the mic, but I have some Fire stuff that I have to do after class. I also got to go pick up my decoys and blinds to go down to my dads so I'll be a little pressed for time because I have to have some papers printed and signed so I can go around town and get donations for our Fire Association. But I know how to do it.

derek, were going to shoot our 4 honks, 12 ducks, 2 hooded merganzers and our 32 coots. bring a coupl of knifes to clean em cause one might get dull :D

Yeah i could actually use some help on this subject too, i got a couple recording devices on here and i was just wonderin what everyone else uses or used......just curious, any advice will help......

Dropem, me and Iowamigr8tor figured it out. Heres what you do. First, you gotta have Windows media player. Go to start menu, then go to search. Search 'sound recording' and click on the sound recorder. But you have to have microphone, which I dont have at the moment. :( I'll be getting one shortly

yeah i got all that, i even downloaded a couple progs that i could like cut the distorsion out cause when you get loud in my house sometimes it gets fuzzy, i was just curious,.....ill give windows media a shot ill let you know what i come up with, now if everyone would get outta the house so i can record......
