Just blow the call every day for about 15 min. This will get them broke in faster and help you get better. Broke in guts are much goosier than not. Plus you can get more notes out of it. :o

On the double cluck......If you can due a plain ole cluck just open your off hand and then close it down or muffle it. This is a real simple DC. It might take a little while to get the rythme. PRACTICE....PRACTICE Start slow then speed up when start to get. You will get it. :D Dale
you might call the girls at the shop they may have some broke in in guts there, seems to me i say a post about broke in guts give em a call

If your lucky you might get some that are started. But I wouldn't bet on it. It takes to much time and hard work to get a set broke in. Most people wouldn't sell them for any amount, due to how hard it is to get them the way they want them. Plus, if you are new to goose calling, then you may not have a clue to how you want your to sound. Being it easy or hard to blow. The more broke in the guts are the harder to blow. Good luck, Dale :)

duck hunted with a kid to day that realized his guts had fell out of his call on to the ground the night before and he was freaking out because they had five yrs of breakin and he blows his call alot. he said he would pay whoever found the guts what ever he had in his billfold. a guy finally found them and he gave him 70 dollars just for the guts and he couldnt of been happier. goes to show u how priceless they are.( the guy gave him his money back at the end of the hunt but he sure wasnt worried about the money only the guts)

I just got my SMH a few weeks ago and I have been blowing it for a few weeks and got a buddy to tune it good for me. Since i have it tuned right i practice about 15-20 min. a day and in just that short amount of time i can see a difference. I found the post for breaking in with a vacuum and tried it. Just 15 min. on the vac. and you can see a change. I am no means a good goose caller but just from the little bit i know, i can already see a difference.
