looking for some feed back on it. im thinking about getting on to shoot coyotes with, and just to shoot. open to other guns but wanna stay in the 223 caliber.

They are agreat gun, they can take a beating and fire real nice. But I my opinion I would just find a good AR-15

not well known for outstanding accuracy. Ok ranch gun, but if you get out a ways not typically very good but can vary from gun to gun. Not uncommon to shoot 6 inch groups at a hundy...

I would really go with a Savage Varmit Rifle 223. VEry accurate out of the box

Actually the newer target model shoots very well, 1inch groups at a hundred.. dont need anything better than that for a ranch rifle

yeha the new target shoots well but is an 800 gun. might as well get an AR.

i had one a long time ago but after getting the ar's , i'd never get one again. spend the little extra cash and get the ar . or a nice bolt action varmit model gun

I don't know if they make one or not...but Get a ruger Mark 77 bolt action with the heavier barrel, throw a bipod on it, a damn nice scope, and call it good.

My buddy has a .243 mark 77 and you can drop wood chucks at 250 yards like its nothing.

I have the ranch model, I like it just fine. I have open sights and can keep a grouping on a paper plate at 100 yards. Fun little gun. I made the mistake of buying some cheap after market magazines. POS.

I got a rock river ar15 out the door at just under $1100. Id recommend it as I'd do it all over again given the chance.
