I have a Double Reed TR Blue Diamondwood, Smoke #'d Double Reed that I would sell for 80 plus shipping.

I would recommend you try a Dead Meat Mallard double reed, I think it would be exactly what you want. Definately a versatile do it all call. Thats why some have called it the S.U.V. of duck calls.

I guess it depends on how much you want to spend. I don't think you will be able to buy a DMM for anywhere near the price of a TR.

I didn't see him mention anything about a price limit, and as much as I love the double reed timber rattler, in my opinion the DMM is the closest thing to a "do-it-all" duck call on the market. Sorry I affended you Paul, best of luck selling your TR.

You didn't offend me, I was just stating the facts. Yes the DMM is a very versatile call, but I do not think that it can get as quiet or make all the same calls as a TR. Nor does the TR make all the same sounds as the DMM. In a perfect world where everyone has a ton of ca$h, he could buy both and cover all the bases.
