Gander mountain has a sale and i am interested in getting some goose decoys. The only goose decoys i have right now are four floating specks. I want field honkers and specks. Im in high school so i dont have time for a job until summer. I have $300 to get started. I was thinking a Harvester pack of FFD lessers, and a few dakotas. What do you guys think?

Those are great decoys. I run Bigfoot Honker floaters ( best all around in my opionion ) & GHG spec floaters and FFD's. I love them. You may want to check with the stores right now. They are putting all thier decoys on sale because the season is over.

Thanks for the suggestion. I think they have a deal on big foots too so i will check those out. I wish there was a decent waterfowl shop near me, but not enough hunters in the gay area.

They have bigfoot speck fullbodies for 54.99 a box, a price you wont see anywhere else get close to.
Call them up and have them cut you a deal on shipping as well.
To be honest, if you wanted canadas as well, I would just buy some Krylon flat paint and paint these to look like canadas.
I've done it with spray paint (Krylon) and it actually looked great.
At 54.99 a box, for fullbodies, and bigfoots at that, it is hard to beat when on a budget. Even used canada bigfoots go for $200/dozen, these are $165 ish a dozen new.
Another option to look at anyway.
