BGB call Sale

i just went through all the calls and I have a lot of calls in the BGB line that we are discontinuing for example, wide open originals clear and yellow, wide open wood, wide open coke bottle, purple, and some of the fat boys with discontinued colors. Im clearing the shelves for all the new colors for 09.
Here is the deal and this is a 1 time deal only to customers, dealers wont have this any call,(new) thats a discontinued color $55 comes with BGB hat and cassette or CD this does not cover shipping. All have the lifetime warranty like all FMI products.
I will post pics next week after the shows but You can call now and ask for colors and we will ship now.

I've been getting alot of pm's about what is still left. The best way is to just call the shop 1-833-83GEESE to find out. I have checked my pm's pretty regulary today, but i don't on a normal basis.

Apparently there is some confusion. The calls that are available at the $55 price are located on the photobucket link i posted yesterday. As we sell out of a particular color I delete the photo. Also, if you want to order one of these calls or have any questions call the shop. As I stated earlier, pming me is not the best way to find out what we have. I'm not always at my desk at work and do not check them when I'm not here.

Got my hedge wide open yesterday and fell in love. I ordered another in grey acrylic. I do have a question though, how is the fat boy? I'm thinking about nabbing one.

The fat boy is a sister to the SMH.

I feel that I lose a little bit of air through the call that I don't on the SMH. I've got several of them and wouldn't sell them for $55.

i ordered mine on a friday afternoon and recieved it on wednesday.

Got my calls in the mail today. I like them alot. The only problem I got though is that the insert in the cocobolo one doesn't really stay in the barrel that well. I pushed it in a little tighter but don't want to break it. It seemed to help a little bit but I think if I really blow a highball it mite pop out. Anybody else experienced this from a coco wide open or any call for that matter. The acryllic one I got fits great.

I am thinking a hedge wide open set up with a double reed would be insane, like a smoking double with faster response and more aggressiveness.

R u talking about grooves that run parallel to the bore on the insert? If so, both my coco and acryllic ones do. Didn't ask about the double reed, b/c I ordered online. As far as the response I'm having a hard time getting a rolling feed out of it, which I can get on most of my other calls pretty well. Not sure if response would be better with a double.

i tuned a coco wide open for a guy as a double bc he's new to calling and struggles with the air needed for a single reed. Its alot like a dmm, imo. Took me a little bit to get it to sound right, but once it did, it was pretty sweet.

I'd like it in double just to cut the volume down, and have always found those smokin doubles and death whistles as versatile as any single, just softer on the volume.

Kind of why I was thinking the wide open as a double would give you a bit more volume than the Smokin double, but that bigger bore should make those bouncing hens come easier, and let the call roll a little better as far as speed goes.

I just don't need that top end ring the single would give me, and also believe the double to sound a little more "true to life."

I just received my new hedge wide open. Drew tuned in DR for me at the shop and really sounds good. I would say my Straight suzy is a bit louder an raspier. The wide open has good range and can get pretty soft. Nice and mellow My friend is getting an acrylic DR and it will be interesting to here the difference. Great call for a great price.

Grab these calls up, it's the best deal in the world! As a matter of fact, I love one of them so much that I will be using a BGB insert at the Illinois State. As for the barrel, I am really used to having an FMI mouthpiece which is one of the reasons I stayed with Jeff's calls in the first place. Oh , and by the way I snatched 9 of them. I would not sell any of them for the world. :D
