Yeah u can, I have never done it but they make a chamber out of like a ziploc storage containter. The only downfall is u have to listen to it for like 12 hrs. The best way is to do it by using the call, that way you are building on your techniques also.

I usually take a new set of guts and trace around the reed and then with a dremel tool cut a very light groove, this is not as good as a complete worn in set, But it is better than a brand new set not broken in at all, But this is a very touchy deal, and you can ruin your guts if you are not careful. I wouldn't suggest doing it but if you feel like you want to just take a little bit off at a time then blow your call till you get it where you want.
