I am going to be part of a huge hunt this Sat with guys from Waterfowler.com I think there will be 5 groups of us 3 duck setups and 3 field geese....my field geese crew should have about 20 dozen FB's out ......going to be quite a site.

As far as seeing geese we saw quite a bit for this time of year. Got 2 decent size flocks to come our way . But i am happy with the amount of birds for this time of year. Sounds like everyone else did ok considering the warm weather. After sat. weathers gonna change and things should be looking up for most of us across the state. Hope to hear more good stories and see some good pics.

We piled up 22 honks....no ducks!!! Had a hot field that went cold...had to go to a back up plan that for once actually panned out!!!
I'd have pics but the old lady had the memory stick at work getting them developed - new baby = 1,000,000,000 pcitures
Gonna try to hit a field in NY this weekend!!!
awsome mark that is a pile! still slow here waitin for some new birds
Hey mark good job man! Don't kill everything at that end of the state.
Let a few get to the mason-dixon line so we get some trigger time(ha-ha-ha)
Good luck in NY this weekend-pile em' up brother.

Finally, I went out today by myself and like usual got some shooting. Saw tons of birds considering time of season and weather and also that the lakes around here usually don't get crazy amounts of birds. The divers were here. Good numbers of teal. Had a few pairs of buffs and more mallards than i could shake a stick at. I think i saw some gadwalls, or widgeon also....it was kinda dark yet. Got 2 drakes and a goose. I am very pleased with that considering the day i had wed. I will def. be hitting that spot up tomorrow. I think what worked well to my advantage was the other 2 groups of guys on the lake couldn't call to save their life. I just chuckled a little gave a little laydown call and they hopped right on over. Some just to far out of range and i would rather not send them to school yet. :D
