Do you guys ever shot any ducks that look of the wall in color me and my boy went out last sunday afternoon for a evening hunt in a corn field and shot our limit of birds and look closely at the far right drake. It's feathers look like a rooster pheasant I should have mounted it but oh well. Mmmmm....I would say its a cross-breed with another duck species. My guess by how dark it is, maybe a gadwall/mallard mix but I dunno. You probably could have taken it to the DNR and they coulda ran some tests on it and told you exactly what was the deal.

No offense Honk but I think it's time those birds up there headed down to at least Illinois. Anyone else second thia?

Killer miller I should have sent it to the DNR or mounted it but to be honest I went home and cleaned it and put the meat in the crook pot and eat it and never really payed attention to it until I download the pictures from the camera to our computor where we store our pictures and looked at them there and man it just jumped out at me I should have mounted that one. Oh well. MLGORECKI. Be patient I won't shoot them all LOL. They will be there in now time at all. Good Hunting. Todd
