I have shot the 3.5s in 1s in 19/16 ounce thru a pattern master it does the job well.

yes they work good. i would use 1 for decoying birds. bb for the other shooting.

tighten down your choke and shoot 3 inch shells - snows and especially Ross's geese aren't all that hardy when it comes to taking a hit.

Hevi Steel 1's are more than sufficient. We shoot good old regular steel BBs and 60 - 70 yard shots aren't a problem with the right choke.
