Hey guys, we are now offering guided turkey hunts in VA. We just added 6000 more acres that are loaded with turkeys. We also have our lodge set up on one of the 700 acre farms. Last year my turkey guides had an 85% success rate.(no jakes, mature gobblers) Contact me to book your hunt

Spring Turkey Season
Bag Limit
One per day, bearded turkeys only. Hunters may take one, two or three bearded turkeys depending on how many turkeys were taken in the fall season.

Seasons: Statewide
April 11-May 2, 2009:
One-half hour before sunrise until 12 noon each day.
May 4-May 16, 2009:
One-half hour before sunrise to sunset.
Youth Spring Turkey Hunt Day
April 4, 2009
One-half hour before sunrise to sunset.
Youth hunters (resident or nonresident) must be 15 years of age or younger to participate.
Youth hunters between the age of 12 and 15 must have appropriate valid hunting licenses. Hunters under the age of 12 are not required to have a license, but they must be accompanied by a licensed adult.
All youth must be accompanied and directly supervised and within sight of an adult. Adult hunters accompanying youth must possess a valid Virginia hunting license (or be exempt from purchasing a hunting license); may assist with calling; and shall not carry or discharge a firearm.

non-res 3-day lic is $46 and 3 tags are $66.


How much without a guide?
I will have to check, we havent had anyone do that in the past. Is that gonna be with or without lodging. Its kinda hard do to the scouting and moving we do to hunt without a guide.

That's a great deal for out of state tags...

Good addition to the repetoire Tripp.

Can I ask what you guys are cahrging for a 3 day hunt? Do you charge a flat fee for the 3 day and then a bit more for each additional bird?

Barry, once again, it takes more than a recycled quote to boost that post count. :lol: I think he was looking for a more exact location.

They just picked up another 6000 acres out of the 40,767 square miles available in Virginia. I guess technically 39,704 square miles as there are 1,063 square miles of inland water.

So, if a guy was looking at motels, where in that stretch of 440 E-W miles and 200 N-S miles would he start at?
