when or how often do u guys change reeds??? my reed has like 2 really white spots like there's a bubble in the middle - doesnt seem to be affecting it but what should i do?

I replace when they crack. Those bubbles are the beginings of cracks. For me they tend to crack on the edges where it folds into the tone board. It really depends on how much you call, I havent changed mine in a LONG time and I have been doin alot of calling, Im sure it will crack one of these days in the field which is why i now carry spare reeds with me.

yeah there is a bubble on each side by the tip that falls into the tone board - thanks for the help

you should probably get some spares on hand(shaved ones) call the girls at the shop 1-866-83 geese, couple days to get em to ya
