Scouted again last night after work, both fields still holding up.
It could get ugly tomorrow. Both fields have ducks and geese coming.
One of the fields is actually about 75% flooded from all the rain we had yesterday. Good luck to everyone this weekend!

Was out this morning mainly for ducks but the flocks of geese were outragous. There had to be at least 100-200 is most of them. Saw probablly 10-15 flocks withing an hour. Way up there too so i think this cold that coming is making them move. Hopefully its not our geese, hopefully its new guys coming in. Anyway good luck tomorrow..... and maybe some of the geese i seen are headed your way.

Talk about an 8 o clock flight scedule, there were so many birds over my shop this morning i didnt know what to do with myself, had to be a thousand birds, i had birds turnin and maple leafin, and i was standin behind my shop blowin the hell out of my MH, cannot wait to get in the field and do it for real..........if only they would let me hunt the water preserve, i have a water recovery station about a 1/4 mile behind my shop, hold about 2-3thousand geese on roost everynight....wish i had set out some decoys i coulda had bird landing in the parkin lot, oh well, monday is comming fast, and still open for invites if anyone wants to make thier bag limit a little bigger, have no issues letting someone else fill my bag limit, i just like talking to them anyway.....lol thats how i save money on shells lol............anyway good luck to all and to all happy hunting........... :D
Well boys, thought we had em' pinned down pretty good for the saturday morning hunt, but saw only two geese all morning besides the two small
flocks that were flyin about 10,000 feet. We did kill both birds we saw
and one was banded.
Gave the same field another go in the afternoon. Got to work one
flock of about 50-60 birds. It got ugly when about 25 of them decided
to land 15 yards in front of our blinds. My buddy and I killed four geese
and that was the only flock we got to work. Three more showed up after
quitin' time. We were were to close to the road to push it if you know what I mean.
hope everyone else got out and had good luck!
