If you are looking for a deal on a Foiles call....check out the Yard Sale forums for almost new or slightly used calls.
I can honestly say, I have never seen Foiles Calls on sale...with the exception being at our local Gander Mountain.
Keep your eye on your local Gander....you might get lucky!!!!

Gander Mountain has year end sales on Foiles calls. They don't keep their waterfowl stuff out all year, so they clear it all out....less to have in storage. Cabela's sometimes has some in the bargain cave. The yard sale I would think would be a better place to get a call. They have been blown already, and are on their way to being broke in!
Just my $.02

They sell ALOT of calls. Each call is numbered up to 5000 and a couple of their call series are sold out as far as numbered calls. I think what your are referring to is if they ever go ON SALE. Well lets put it this way if you find a sale on FOILES calls you better hop on it because it rarely happens. Last winter Gander Mountain had a huge sale on all acrylic and high end calls and I spent alot of time on the phone tracking down calls that I wanted. I got a Meatcutter for $80 from Gander Mountain during that time. I also picked up a tundra saver for a little over $120 when Macks had a sale and coupon thing going on. The best places to look for cheap foiles calls is ebay and the bargain cave at Cabelas which are usually calls that have been returned. There also are a few other forums with trading posts to sell calls and I hardly see foiles calls up for sale. Foiles just makes a great calls and once people get ahold of them they are hard to get rid of, however if you do decide to get rid of one they have a high resale, they literally don't depreciate especially if it is numbered. You may invest $150 in the call new and resale at above $100. Pretty good if you only loose $50. In short they are just such a high quality call that it doesn't happen very much. Hope that is what you were looking for and if you do find a sale hop on it, if it at a retail store or chain make sure you let us know  thats how I found out about Gander Mountain.

Sportsmans had a few of the Foiles calls on sale 2-3 weeks ago. They just don't have a very good selection and niether does the Scheels here. Disapointing

Used to work for Scheels, their call selection always sucks. I think the only calls that I have ever seen sell out of the case is Foiles. We got a scheels about 3 years ago and they probably still have some of the same calls they had the day they opened the doors. The deal with scheels is they place one huge order in the spring/early summer and then usually funds get frozen so they cant order more after they sell out. If you want a call during the freeze you have to special order one and then it is easier and faster to call the shop.
