Whats a better zink duck call the xr2 ph1 or ph2

im looking for a new one and i want to see what everyone thinks

I haven't blown on the xr2 but in mho the ph1 is much better than the ph2, the ph2 stuck every time i tried to chuckle on it were the ph1 didn't. That being said o would try the dmm or tr they sounded better to me and just felt good in my hands...thats just mho

I guess what you gotta ask youself is

1. Single or double reed?
2. Loud or quiet?

That should pick your call for you.

well this all depends on what you wanna do!

the XR-2 is probably one of the most duck sounding call on the market

the PH-2 is going to be the quietest of the three calls but still VERY ducky

PH-1 the loudest of the three...and im not the biggest fan of this call

if i were you id go with the XR-2 awesome call!

First off imo all Zink calls are good calls...The Xr-2 is the next best thing to a live mallard in my opinion. There is a catch though..its alot harder to learn how to master this call. But it is well worth the time. The ph-2 is a great call imo very ducky and very user friendly. Most people i have talked to say the Ph-1 sticks the most out of Zinks duck calls. the Ph-1 Open Water is a louder call..this call will scream and can get quite for up close also. and i have yet to stick one.

To me its not always the call its the user...try out as many calls as you can. i say go with what works for you not what everyone else likes!
