I amin the process of building a new boat blind for smaller lakes and shallow water. It is going to be a ridgid blind built from conduit and aluminum skin. The boat it is being built on is a 1648 flat bottom jon with a 25 hp short shaft.

I am asking for any tips or tricks, or ideas that might make my hunting or decoy set up/ clean up easier.

Please post your blind pics if you have them too.

Thanks.

make side doors on each side of the boat, it makes it quicker putting decoys in the boat faster.

I'll post pictures of my 16 foot with the blind on when I decide to put it back on. It's easy to put on and take off, durable, and light, but not collapsible. I love it, and it's easy to set decoys and brush.

I have allready planned for that, I agree with the decoy part, and like being able to hop out the side if necessary. It also makes it easier for one guy to retrieve downed birds.

Thanks.

Also look forward to you blind picks Trent.
