#'s of birds

I would just like to see how many birds everyones killed this year so far,ducks and geese! Missouri season justs gettin warmed up!

I think we are at 43 geese and 17 ducks(Mallards, Teal, and Woodies). We didn't do too bad through early goose and our first season. We don't have many local birds, we always do better in the late season when the migration gets going. Right now the birds are not here but our second season doesn't open for another 3 weeks so hopefully some bad weather is coming. It was so wet through first season that many farmers couldn't get their corn off until last couple of weeks.

we have harvested only 120 ducks so far this season and our goose season hasnt even opened yet!

shot our limits of ganders in early season every time we hunted as for the duck opener did fairly well first 2 weeks been down hill ever since the local birds have a collage degree now!! still waitin on some migrators :cry:

207 Ducks so far...counting early teal season. Mostly teal,gadwall,mottled ducks,shovelers,a few pintail, about 10 mallards, a few widgeon...not to bad so far.

NWPAScott and i have killed 173 geese and maybe 10 ducks.We also took a trip to ND and killed 28 ducks and 7 geese.

We have 137 geese so far season just opened back up Sat. 64 ducks mallards,blacks,pintails,woodies and teal.

Well, we actually figured rough estimates a few days ago. Me, iowamigr8tor, and kingkilla are around 150 ducks so far this year with about 3 weeks left in the season. I would say about 60 of those have been mallards. As far as geese go, only about 25-30 in between us but our season goes until Jan. 9th and they havent showed up in any kind of numbers yet. If I had to guess what us 3 end up with this year, I'd say around 200 ducks and hopefully 80 honkers, if we start really poundin' on 'em. But they have to show up first.

Have not shot a thing up here yet. They need to let us have a longer season and larger limits. :roll:

gee it sounds like more geese are killed,It must be my location cause we never kill many canades round here.My duck numbers are way higher than my goose count.

We've had a great year so far,121 ducks,mostly mallards with some blacks,teal and woodies mixed in and 212 geese so far.Its getting tougher now though.The birds aren't concentrated and we're waiting for migraters to come down.
