I am gonna be buying new decoys this summer,iam going with either BIG FOOT or DAKOTAS,but i was talking to a guy that bought 2 doz dakotas and wasnt happy with them said after one season they were faiding,for the price of these things i dont want to buy something thats only gonna last a season or two,iam sure you can understand that.So a little feed back what do you guys think? THANKS

Dakotas first, GHG second, BF third they just do not finish birds like the others. I have all of them and DSD's

if your looking for durabilty, the big foot cant be beat.and i never have a problem getten the geese to come on in and land in them.got some that are 6 years old and still look great, and they have been hunted hard...

I find it hard to believe that the paint is fading after a season. I have had dakota's for over 2 years and they still look good. Before you make your purchase I would try to get to a show,store, or find someone that has some dakotas and just check them out 1st hand and if you have any question contact me and I will help you out. Also Dakota will stand behind it's products, so if there is a problem I would to see about getting it taken care of.So can you get the guys name and phone # and I would like to speak with him.

I already bought 4 dakotas ,I like the looks of them never got to hunt them yet but they look good.I just wasnt sure about getting more till i got some feed back.THANKS

We sold all of our GHG and run all Dakotas now. We have about 7 dozen with 2 more on the way

if i had the money i'd get the dakota's this thread is the first complaint i've ever heard about them ! as far as big foots , my buddy has some from a long time ago that he hauls on a sled and puts them in the back of the truck & they have less wear then my ghg's that are only a season old. the big foots don't have the detail and feel like there a ton {the ones my buddy has at least } but i've always heard of them to be durable.
