Been rough up until yesterday. Went out for the opener and saw a TONNE (that's metric, none of that imperial bull**** up here) of birds, but we had the sun in our faces and the birds were flaring at about 60 yards. Went out Monday and scratched out 2. 1 of which was a cackler and we don't see many of those around here. Linked up with some guys freelancing from Michigan yesterday and killed 17, went out again today and added another 14 to the pile. So now I'm looking towards September.

How'd everyone do?

I saw a flock of about 75 snows fly over the house this afternoon. I hope we can see more of them this way

good job on the honks..

We don't get one up here in eastern Ontario (near ottawa). We had Sunday hunting passed and that took away our late season. Wouldn't matter.. We're still froze up here hard, with no geese around (my area anyways)

It's rough. My buddy's Dad cut the last 200 acres of corn they had 3 days before the season opened and it was loaded with honkers. But it's in Oxford County so no go. It is nice to be 20 minutes away from a WMU with Sunday hunting during the season though.
