Any of you guys do this??? Monty and i just got into it. for those of you that dont know what it is- --its like a treasure hunt for items left in hiding using your gps. there are tons in every state. its a nice way to spend a morning or afternoon, and fun to see what everyone has left in the cache, and when it was put in there. many are very challanging to find. great way to get out and enjoy the outdoors and walk the dogs.

I did it back in college a few times, it was alot of fun everytime I went out. Its something it seems that very few people know about and really its probably better that way

well i would hope the people would respect it and enjoy it, but your probably right, theres a few that would ruin it for everyone.

We've done a few, it's pretty fun! We've been leaving stuff in old mines and stuff.

Geocaching is alot of fun. It was my excuse to get the new Garmin 400T. I take my daughter out most of the times with me. She loves the fact that she can trade an old small toy for a brand new one. Gets her out and moving and me too. She is 3.5 now and just loves it. I dont like the micros so I mostly look for small ones on up.
Good time!

One thing I learned quick was get 2 GPS so the kid can have one and I can have one.

My favorite urban one was in the middle of a parking lit under the light pole shroud. We had to very leary of the mugglers

yeah you gotta watch those mugglers.

1 that we found (after looking several times) was a large screw in a pole--the screw was hallowed out and had the log sheet inside of it.

and yes!!! those micros can be a PITA. But its all fun!
