Seasons just getting warmed up here, but a lot of the migrators we had flew early and no signs of new birds yet, hopeing to get some kinda flock movement soon, cause the birds here already have a PHD and are not trying to play fair, so hopefully some fronts will push some wings our way soon, otherwise we are looking at a boreing season...

It was an expensive season. Taxidermy wise. Thats a good thing!!!! Spent the day in the rain today and got 3 Mallards. Picked up and watched a good flock of Mallards 15-20 and a decent flock of Geese 5-8 fly over. Go figure!!!!

Time to spend the rest of the time in the field blastin saucer-heads!!!!!!!!

Sorry to hear the duck season is over for you boys. We only have about 2 weeks left ourselves :( THere are alot of mallards here, but they are educated. Field hunting has been good for them though. THis front could be very interesting referring to the number of ducks and geese that show up in the following few days.

Seems like every year I do not think it was a good year.

Had a terriable early goose season again and did not feel we made up for missing out on 5 bird a day limits early season provides.

Myself and the parties I hunt with maybe killed 120 - 140 geese and 150 ducks.

Does not seem like enoguh to me. Next year I am going to pictures of every hunt we have.

I was saying that to one of my shooting buddies just the other day. For the last four years I've said "this has been the worst season yet", and it just keeps getting worse. If it keeps up, this year will be the worst. I blame most of it on the weather. It doesn't get really cold here until after the season is over. The birds all seem to show up after Jan 15th.
