Got any ideas of good Minnesota late season spots???

I have never hunted up there, but I do remember going skiing at Afton Alps a few years ago. I think it is south of Minneapolis/St. Paul. But I remember staring out the window of the charter bus looking at all the freakin' geese. This was I think 2 winters back around mid-December. They were everywhere...it seemed like the further north we got, the more there were. Thats all I can tell you.

Here is an idea.. go to the nearest lake or pond that is holding birds.. Watch them leave and follow them. Find the field there goign in and ask for permision to hunt it or a cut off fied near it. Not an expert but scouting seems to work pretty well.
