Well guys whats the word along the east coast? PA, NY, NJ, etc... you got the idea. I have been hearing more geese at night and seeing a bunch more lately. Don't quite know what the real deal is since i havn't gotten out to scout much. Now the cold is hopefully back and will make everything move again. There's snow starting to lay in Ontario and Quebec so they will finally move out of there. NY is expecting snow also so we might have some more birds shortly.
been so long since weve seen birds FORGOT what they look like!! OOH OK now i remember from your profile pic

I hunt in kKent county Md and the birds were everywhere three weeks ago, but with this recent warm weather it is hard to tell how many are around. Getting cold again this week, the birds will move and Round two of goose season opens in two weeks. BRING IT ON Have you noticed a migration push lately? Let me know when the birds are headed my way.

That cold front didnt do us any favors here in the midstate Richie it pushed out what was here. Yesterday I only saw a few ducks total did see an oldsqaw on the river and one of my buddies scored on one as well. There are still a ton of mallards in the fingerlake region of New York so who knows when they might get here.

Bunch of birds moving around in NW PA.....canadas and a TON of ducks moving in and about. Problem is - they AIN'T gonna stay long with the lack of food around. Farmers have very little corn cut aorund home. A few decent fields here and there, but for the most part, there is more corn standing than there is cut. We still have a TON of soybean still standing as well.....
Bad year for the farmers....can't cut anything...just too friggin' wet up here.
