In over 25 years of hunting I can not ever remember pattering my gun.
This is my first questions.
Have you patterened the gun you are currently useing for goose hunting?
This is my second question
Have you ever patterend a shot gun?

Yes. SBE with 3" 3s at 35 yds high & left , About 4" high ,And 10" left. With 3.5" tripple bb's at 45yds it is low left . 2" left , 4" low. When I shot i ajust for this and get very few crips.

I have a SBE egal and can hit tihngs good but after that post I think I should patterne it.
With all of the pellets how did you determine the actual center to see how far off it was?
Thanks

Yep- Patterned my M2 with the Pattern Master, that's how I figured out it wasn't working. I have where most guys love theirs, I wonder if I happened to get a bad one.
Yes- I pattern all of my shotguns with the diffrent loads.

The onlu gun I have even patterned is my SBE, which I use for every kind of shooting and hunting I do except for bowhunting (Hoyt Ultratec). The only time I ever patterned my gun was when I got a new turkey choke tube and I patterned it. But I did buy a Briley light modified this year and am going to pattern it this spring. I also am going to pattern my PM that I just got.

in my mind its almost a waste of time and shells to pattern your gun. i dont think that they dont make chock tubes to sux, so i just go with it. just my oppinion. i know i can hit stuff but if i miss i dont really blam it on anything or anyone but myself.

yes!!! you would be amased what you learn "paper testing" a shotgun, i shot 11 diff. rounds in my 870-patternmaster this fall some were great some piss poor, but i know now what the gun likes. 3.5-1.5 oz.#2 or bb'out to 40 yrds.=carnage 8) if the guy holding the gun has his game on
