Man - I just got my brand new Strait Spec two days and I'm havin' fits with it. What you "say" into the call? Do you blow, grunt, what's this thing called back pressure? Hand Control? I've been hard at it for the last 2 days and I'm only showing a very few signs of the speck sound.

I have an ole' cheap Duck Commander speck flute that I can get to sound pretty good, I just wanted a Foiles Spec Call because IMO Foiles calls have the best look, and I love my Strait Meat Mallard.

I just need pointed in the right direction. Any help would be appreciated!

I always say you should talk your call. With the spec call you should try saying.... HUH HUH or HAH HAH like your laughing. Or try AH HAH. you can change the tone with your hands or just with the tone of your voice. saying it louder into the call will be higher pitched, saying it lower will be a lower pitched sound. Give that a try. If you can't get it i would say o pick up callin geese 2.0. Hopefully this helps

Try EeeEee and UeeUee (as in blUE). Does that make any sence.... Those are the reference words i use for my two note yodel..
