How can i tune my showtime it just doesnt sound right any tips?

Here is a basic tune setup that i start from without shaving reeds more and cutting them, take the tone board and the reed, place the tip of the reed where the tone board channel starts. the tip should just fit into it with very little space. Then take the wedge and line it up with where the reed comes to its widest point. That should get you goin again. It's a start, you can adjust sounds from there. but it should get you back to a decent sound.
