well my season is over. cant wait for sept. 1 2007. had a decent year. me and 3 of my buddies killed 110 geese and 92 ducks(mostly mallards and black ducks also some woodies and widgeon. not to shabby for taking 5 straight weeks off in oct. and nov. to bow and gun hunt for deer. we ended the season on a high note this past week. the weather was in the teens and snowing and blowing. killed our limit of mallards, black ducks and geese twice. there was about 3,000 ducks field hoppin all day long. it was sweeeeeet. i think next year we're going to take the last week of the season off from work and hunt everyday. just as good as north dakota and alot closer. anyway, im jelous of all you guys that can still hunt for a while. good luck . only 9 more months for me.

We have until Thursday on ducks. Hope to get at least one more limit of mallards out of a cornfield sometime this week. Got some honkers lined up for Sunday, I think. We can shoot geese until January 9th. SHould be stackin' em up pretty good soon. Literally thousands have showed up in the past week here in central Iowa.

Is the season closed? Can you go to the WI south zone?

I thought it was over and have nailed some since then. We may pound them this weekend with the warm weather.

hammer, ducks are done state wide and goose is open tomorrow and then thats done as well.
