Hunting on the susquhana flatts

I was wondering if anybody had any info on a good place to launch and set up. Heard alot about this area but never got out and did it. Also I was wondering if anybody had any good reports of sea ducks anywhere on the chesapeake. Thanks for help.

The launch for the flats is Tydings Park/Marine in Havre De Grace. I've never hunted the flats, but used to fish tournaments out of there and it's the only way to go. There also used to be a public ramp further in the river, but unsure of it: never used it. I think Tydings was like five dollars or ten; two wide ramp, tight parking lot. Flats are south of ramp on other side of island. Do yourself a favor and look up a good chart, I've seen a ton of stranded boats out there :evil: Let me know how you do. A buddy of mine and I are giving it a go in January: body booting freelance in January; afirst for both of us.
