Last year I shot dove loads 2 3/4 winchesters 1oz shot and I had no problem with it cycling all rounds. The last 2 months my buddies and I have been shooting a lot of trap and I basically am shooting a single shot. I've cleaned the gun 2 or 3 times and it seemed to help for a bit. I've tried to make sure that the gun is all the way tucked into my shoulder to make sure the enertia bolt isn't issue. Any suggestions on oils, cleaning techniques ect I would appreciate.

my xtrema 2 did the same thing i cleaned it or what i thought cleaning it was and took it to a buddy that thats all he does is gun guns guns. he put the action and a few other parts in a tank that dry lubes the parts and also cleans them to where the look new. also there was a ring around what i would call the valve it was a little twisted he just hand straightened it. gun cycles 7/16 ounce fast as anything now and it will not cost hardly anything and the info you will learn will be very helpful for gun life.not a gun expert at all but this is the little bit i have learned

Shoot 1 1/8 oz loads (100 packs of federals are good) and make sure you clean the recoil spring. I use mine all the time and have never had a hiccup. Use the rod with a 410 sponge and hops and run the spring up and down a few times then just lightly spray a shot of Break Free Clp and work it in.
