I was just wondering when you guys make the double cluck are you continuously blowing air into the call example aakkaakkaakkaakk , or are you breaking it up aakk aakk aakk aakk. I have both videos and I have Honker Talk by Shawn Stahl when he does the european siren drill he continuously puts air into the call . I just wondered if I should be putting constant air into the call while saying akakakakak or do short burst of air like the other sounds that you can make on the calls.

Josh:
There are multiple versions of the double cluck and all are blown different. I use two different versions....a combination of a moan-cluck and the aa-kaa that Jeff teaches you in the CDs and Videos. The mona-cluck is a constant flow of air, while the aa-kaa is cut off using your throat. The moan-cluck version is much easier to master, but the aa-kaa, IMHO, sounds more realistic in the field. I do not use very much....but it is deadly in the late season for finishing birds  .
We'll have to get together this late season or this summer and do a little calling!!!
